Our Story
A Club Built on Passion
Founded in 1879, Pocklington RUFC is one of the oldest rugby clubs in East Yorkshire. From humble beginnings, we've grown into a thriving community club that fields senior men's and women's teams, a vibrant junior section from U6 to U18, and a mini rugby programme that introduces the youngest players to the game we love.
Nestled in the heart of the Wolds, our home at Feathers Field on Percy Road has been the beating heart of rugby in Pocklington for generations. We're proud of our heritage, but we're always looking forward — investing in our facilities, developing our players, and ensuring that rugby remains accessible to everyone in our community.
